In Process is founded by Marlee Banfield, a registered psychotherapist with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in counselling. She works with a broad range of clients in private practice in the Macedon Ranges, Fitzroy and online.

Marlee works with individuals and couples to build a safe and trusting relationship and recognises the quality of this connection underpins the therapeutic process. She offers clients authentic collaboration, emotional attunement and empathic understanding.

Her process traces patterns back to their historical origins, considers how they may have changed or remained fixed over time, and holds space for new possibilities to emerge. She places particular weight on early life experiences and how they shape our self-image and relationship to the world around us.

Drawing from a diverse pool of therapeutic frameworks—including attachment theory, depth psychology, parts work, polyvagal theory, somatic practices, and transpersonal psychology—Marlee tailors her approach to fit the unique needs and experiences of each client.
In Process acknowledges that we are on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung people who have been custodians of this land for thousands of years, and acknowledge and pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging. hello@inprocesstherapy.com.au, +61 421 667 551, Instagram, LinkedIn
